Last year, we celebrated one of my besties at her nautical themed bachelorette party on Fire Island, New York. It honestly was one of the best bachelorette parties I have ever been to and it was all because of her maid of honor, Gina. Gina, who is also another one of my best friends, organized the entire bachelorette week, from the food to the drinks, from the decor to the activities. Everywhere you turned, there was another thoughtful detail. Gina is insanely creative, so I knew that there would be some pretty awesome things at this bachelorette party.
If you are looking to plan a nautical bachelorette party in the near future, check out some of these sweet treat ideas for the bride and her friends!
Nautical Bachelorette Tank Tops
We went at the end of July, so it was HOT! We wore this tank top with a pair of shorts and headed to the beach! There were three different nautical bacherlorette tanks: “Bride” tank top in white, “Bride’s Mates” tank top pictured above, and “Bride’s Crew” tank top in navy. We received compliments everywhere we went! (Big shout out to Baxter’s Sport Shop for making these awesome tank tops!) I lived in this shirt the entire weekend!
Nautical Bachelorette Sunglasses
If you are going to the beach, you are going to need a pair of shades! Gina found these adorable sunglasses on Etsy, and the seller matched the wording to the tanks!
Nautical Bachelorette Drink Koozies
You have to keep your drink cold on those hot summer days! This Etsy shop has a great selection of personalized koozies! The other side of the koozie read: “Last Sail Before the Veil”.
Who doesn’t love a funfetti whoopie pie or sea-salt chocolate chip cookie? Laura, the owner of Pip n Bits, created custom desserts for this nautical bachelorette! She even dyed the sprinkles on the pies to match the theme! They were perfectly packaged and I felt bad ripping off the top of the bag to bite into these DELICIOUS treats! They were the perfect addition. Check out her website and order a batch for yourself!
Bachelorette Party Elastic Hair Ties + Custom Card
To Have and to Hold Your Hair Back…. this custom card + anchor elastic hair ties were essential for a long weekend at the beach. Gina and I made a ton of hair ties, I personalized the card to suit the nautical bachelorette theme, and the girls wore these chic hair ties around their wrist all weekend long! I sell them on my Etsy shop, and you can customize the prints, colors, and cards!
Bachelorette Party Tattoos
These temporary bachelorette tattoos matched with the nautical theme perfectly! All the girls wore them and they lasted for the majority of the weekend!
Monogrammed Baseball Hat
Lynette is super athletic, and the maid of honor wanted something different for the bride to wear on her head instead of the plastic crown or a veil. Gina ordered this monogrammed baseball hat and attached tulle and bows to the back of it. The bride wore it to the beach during the day. Once the weekend ended, she detached the bows/tulle and has a personal baseball hat!
Lynette’s favorite snack is goldfish, so Gina made baggies full of these yummy snacks. She added a cute tag and displayed them on the coffee table for everyone to grab if they wanted something to snack on during the day.
Gina did such a great job with organizing this nauti bachelorette party, I couldn’t fit it all into one post! The second post, Seven Nautical Bachelorette Party Ideas: Games & Decorations, which will be posted next week!
