What do you buy the man who has everything? I ask this questions every time I need to buy a Father’s Day gift for my dad. If he wants something, he buys it, so when the time comes for his birthday or Father’s Day or Christmas, I’m stumped. I hate getting the same ol’ gift year after year, so I’m always on the lookout for something he doesn’t have or didn’t think to buy himself.
Below is a quick guide to some great gifts – whether you are buying for your father, husband, brother or friend, any man will enjoy opening up one of these great gifts on June 19th!
Father’s Day Shave Kit
Growing up, I always remember watching my father when he would start his nightly shaving routine. I’d love the smell of the shaving lotion and the shaving brush was always so soft. Every man deserves to have a good shaving kit in his bathroom cabinet and The Art of Shaving has some fantastic sets for Father’s Day.
Buy him a round of golf.
If the man in your life is a golfer, why not buy him a round of golf at the local golf course? Or you can create a basket and add some golf tees, golf balls, golf gloves and a golf shirt. Regardless of which route you go, any golf dad will love it!
I tend to buy my father a nice polo shirt or two to kick off his summer wardrobe. But if I’m buying a gift for my husband, I’m going to buy him a pair of really nice underwear. Our men deserve to be comfortable, especially with the hot summer approaching. Check out Tommy John no-adjustment underwear. They have a ton of colors and styles and they are currently running a fantastic special… they are offering 20% off the Father’s Day bundles which include the famous no-adjustment men’s underwear, and every purchase gets a free pair of athletic socks! I mean, you just can’t go wrong with this gift!
Beach gear won’t go to waste.
My parents have a beach cabana this summer so I know anything beach related won’t go to waste. Check out this great backpack beach chair by Tommy Bahama. Or these great spiker beach sand coaster cup holders. A gift card to Barnes and Nobles where he can buy some new beach reads would be a great idea too! Even a new bathing suit or towel would make a great gift for the beach bum.
Take it to the next level in the kitchen.
Is your father a top chef? Why not add to his kitchen collection and buy him a really good knife? William Sonoma has this awesome Wüsthof Classic Hollow-Edge Santoku Knife which is perfect for mincing and paper-thin slicing. Every chef needs good kitchen tools and this knife would make for a great Father’s Day gift for any cook.
What do you plan on buying this Father’s day?
