Digital Detours: July 2016

July proved to be an extremely busy month. Between engagements to birthday parties, to vacations to work events, I was busy all day, every day. These “digital detours” remind me to step out of my comfort zone and enjoy everything that life has to offer. Since this month was super busy, the detours were small, but I was grateful for all the good news and great opportunities that came my way.

Going to the Chapel…

One of our good friends, Diane, got engaged over the holiday weekend and we all met up to celebrate. We enjoyed delicious food and drinks at the Buoy Bar in Point Lookout and watched the gorgeous sunset over the bay. (Follow me on Instagram to see this and other great photos!)

Summer Hair, Don’t Care

I recently launched a new listing on my Etsy shop: a grab bag of colorful, fun elastic hair ties. These hair ties are great to throw in your beach or gym bag! Check them out here.

Summer of Soul

My workout game is strong right now and I’ve been upping my Soul Cycle classes each week. Waking up early is hard to do, but it’s easier when you know you have a great workout ahead of you.

I had two planned trips this month: short weekend in Chicago and a long weekend in Montauk! Both were towards the end of the month, but I’m always looking forward to booking another trip!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game…

One of my responsibilities at work is coordinating events for the attorneys. Every summer, we take a suite and watch a Long Island Ducks baseball game. I love my day job and I don’t mind these fun perks!

Friendship Goals

These two guys… they are too cute for words. They are truly best buds.

Good for you for sticking with your workouts! I’ve never been able to wake up early for it and really admire anyone who has that kind of dedication 🙂 Looks like you’ve been busy, and your pups are ADORABLE!

Thanks! I’ve been pretty consistent; just have to get my diet on track and I should be good to go! Aw – thank you – they are cute but a handful!
