Five Etsy Shops You Must Check Out!

When I first joined Etsy two years ago, I wasn’t sure how it all worked. I was selling my wedding invitation ornaments to people I knew, but how was I going to sell them to people across the United States? Etsy is the place to buy and sell all things handmade and they have a ton of talented artists, creators and entrepreneurs, all creating beautiful and practical things for any occasion.

As a current Etsy shop owner, I love supporting other shops on the site. Whenever I need some gift inspiration, I always lean on the amazingly talented artists on Etsy to show me the way.

Here are five of my favorite Etsy shops, in no particular order. Check them out and support a small business today!

Amber Thomas Makes

I first found Amber’s blog, Mr. Thomas and Me. I was instantly drawn to her writing style. After reading a couple of her blog posts, I noticed she also had an Etsy shop. Her hand-painted globes, custom journals, and one of a kind art are the perfect fit for your home and heart. Amber believes that color makes the world go round and I couldn’t agree with her more.

Tangled Pony Designs

I was paired up with Elyse through a coffee mug swap via the blogging universe. After exchanging a bunch of emails, we both discovered our mutual love for all things entrepreneurial and opened up about our small businesses. Elyse’s shop has a mix of different types of art: wall art, home decor, etc. I especially love this custom wood pallet state sign, the perfect gift to give a new homeowner!

The Daily Tay

She’s not only one of my favorite bloggers, but she has a super fun Etsy shop! I have bought two of her shirts, her famed “I Just Want to Hangout With My Dog” tee and the neon pink, “Summer So Hard” tank top. Taylor has a shirt for every occasion and her sayings are original and authentic. She just released a bunch of shirts for those fall football Sunday Fundays. Check them out!

I actually know Michelle in real life; she was the one who made my gorgeous wedding invitations. She sells everything from greeting cards to tote bags to home decor items. My favorite items? Her Food for Thought greeting cards pictured below. Check out her stationary and pick up a box of cards today.

Pink Mug NY

If you know me, you know that I’m obsessed with my dogs. When I received this mug from one of the blog mug swaps, I nearly cried. It looks almost identical to my Bentley! The Pink Mug NY has a ton of other great mugs and they even carry mouse pads! It is the perfect gift for any dog lover!

I’m always on the hunt for new shops! Leave your favorites in the comments!

Easy is still a big, scary, unknown web universe to me, though I’m hoping to begin using it especially as this holiday season starts. I love supporting small businesses! These are all great Easy shops I will have to look into! Thanks for sharing 🙂

Thanks for reading! Yeah – Etsy can be overwhelming at first; but there are such great shops out there and most sellers are easy to work with!
