Five Gifts Your Bridesmaids Will Love!

I have NO IDEA what to buy my bridesmaids!

This statement is often followed by, “What gifts did you buy your bridesmaids?” when approached by a bride-to-be. I remember feeling the same way: I wanted to give my girls something that was memorable, that they would be sure to use again. I can’t tell you how many bridesmaids gifts I have received, and the next day, wonder, when am I ever going to wear this again? What am I going to do with this trinket? Most of the time, these items collect dust in my jewelry box or on my shelf.

When it came time to buying gifts for my girls, I wanted to purchase gifts for my friends that they would enjoy long after the wedding was over. We had a large bridal party (8 bridesmaids and 12 groomsmen) so we were trying to be cognizant of the cost as well. But of course, I couldn’t just stop at one gift, and below are some of the gifts my bridesmaids received.

Flip-Flops, Tank Top and Zip-up Hoodie

I was going to make them cute tank tops or t-shirts, but of course I decided way too late and I wanted everyone to be able to wear these pieces again. I turned to Old Navy for these items.  They wore the tank and hoodie in the morning and brought the flip-flops in their bag in case they wanted to switch out of their heels. These items were inexpensive yet conducive to their lifestyles.

Monogrammed Mug

All my friends drink coffee or tea and they were so pretty, I couldn’t resist. This store has so many great monogrammed gifts, it was hard deciding on just one. (Unfortunately, CWonder went out of business, but you can find adorable ones from Anthropologie!)

Personalized Bride Hanger

Bride Hanger

My bridesmaids gave me this hanger as gift at my bridal shower. I had found this item on Etsy, and I absolutely loved it! It was a total last minute purchase, but I loved how they photographed. I even bought one for  my mother and mother-in-law.

I wanted to find a piece of jewelry that went with the dresses AND that they could wear again. After two failed attempts of purchasing earrings at Forever 21, I found beautiful gold, drop earrings at Kohl’s. Lauren Conrad’s jewelry line is dainty and beautiful. They were exactly what I was looking for.

Large Tote Bag

The girls need a place to store all their stuff on the big day! This bag from Victoria’s Secret big enough for the girls to carry their shoes, makeup, hoodie, etc. They could use it again if they need an overnight bag or a beach bag!

What are some great gifts you gave or received as part of a bridal party?

Thanks! It’s a great way to store all the stuff on the day of! I’ve received tote bags from Etsy shops too, but VS had a great sale around Christmas the year I was getting married, so it worked out!

I bought personalized hangers for my bridal party and my mom. I found them on Etsy too. Etsy is the best for cute wedding finds.
