Have you ever been invited to a baby shower where the registry was just large to handle? I don’t know about you, but the first time I walked into a Bye Bye Baby, I was instantly overwhelmed. It was wall to ceiling baby stuff: clothing, burp clothes, strollers, bottles, cribs, etc. and my head was spinning as I walked around. When I received the invitation to a friend’s baby shower last year, I let my friend handle the registry while I handled a different type of gift: The Mommy Survival Kit.
Since it was her first child, I knew this Mommy Survival Kit would be the perfect addition to the glider we bought off her registry. All too often, people buy gifts for only the baby. Don’t get me wrong, the baby shower is about the little person, but what about the mother? Or father? Don’t they deserve something too?
Just in case of an “emergency”, we created the perfect survival kit for the mother-to-be.
