Do you know what’s the best? Thoughtful gifts. And my best friend Gina is the queen of giving them.
Gina is an art teacher, so naturally, she is super creative. She has helped me on numerous projects because her creative, artistic eye is a bit sharper than my literal one. When I give gifts, I always try to put some thought and effort into them. She puts my gift game to shame. Year after year, Gina outdoes herself when it comes to gift giving.
One year, she gave a bunch of us the recyclable, foldable bags before they came fashionable and popular. Another year, she gave us these bejeweled bag holders for when you are going out to a restaurant and do not want to put your bag on the floor. Another time, she created adorable Christmas trees out of clay. I love when my birthday comes up because she always surprises me.
She knows that I love my scarves as much as I love my literature. She found the perfect combination of the two at Uncommon Goods. (If you are unfamiliar with their site, check it out. It has fantastic gifts for just about anybody!)
She chose the Literary Scarf to give as my birthday gift! This cotton, infinity scarf includes passages from the classic novel Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. Honestly, I was almost in tears. Gina put serious thought into this gift and I was so excited to receive something as cool as this for my birthday.
Thank you, Gina, for another creative and amazing birthday gift!
