Are you in charge of planning a bridal shower? It can get overwhelming, especially with too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Below, I listed a couple of great ideas that any bride-to-be would love and appreciate!
Clearly, my mom understood that I needed a little help in the kitchen. When she sent out the invitations (made by Michelle at MeeschMosh), she included a recipe card for the guests to fill out. When they came to the shower, they inserted it into this big photo album.
Guess the Kisses
I had told my mother I didn’t want a ton of games at my shower. I didn’t mind the Bingo, but I besides that, I wanted people to enjoy their time together. My mom poured a ton of Hershey Kisses (all purple… can you sense my theme here?) and asked guests to guess a number of kisses. Whoever was closest to the number, won a prize. She placed it next to the cake, so guests were able to admire the cake as well as win a prize.
Bridal Shower Wine Poem
This is such a cute idea and something great for the whole bridal party to give to the bride-to-be. I gave my sister-in-law a wine poem I found on Pinterest. I also tried to find bottles of wine that corresponded with the tag.
Cleaning Basket Poem
My bridesmaids knew that I although I am super organized, cleaning is not really my favorite thing to do. They created a basket full of cleaning supplies and read this funny poem to me and my guests. This is also a great idea for a housewarming present!
Words of Wisdom
My mom bought a cute, vintage book from Michael’s and had everyone at my shower add some words of wisdom for me and my husband. I’ve seen this before, usually on an index card, but I really liked the book idea. I keep it in my office and pull it out whenever I feel the need to.
